Works well. I plugged mine directly into my POE switch and it came up in short order. Via UPNP presentation I was able to easily get to its built in web page and give it a static address. The ability to control the IR was important to me - would not have bought this if it didn't have the ability to NOT use the IR illuminators. I have it installed now.
