This security camera is not the greatest, but it is better then your local store security cameras on sale for $20. I have mounted the camera in the basement so that I know who goes down the basement or comes out. With the lights off, the picture is good enough to recognize the persons face, and see where they are going. With the lights on the picture is really good, you can clearly tell who it is and what color t-shirt they are wearing or pants. The only con of this camera is the bracket, it feels and it is cheap.
